About Christ Soul Winners Ministry

Raising a Generation for Christ… Winning Souls, Transforming Lives across communities and nations.

Divine Origin

Our Story & History

Christ Soul Winners International Outreach Ministry was birthed out of a divine mandate to proclaim the unsearchable riches of Christ to every soul.

πŸ“– The Journey From 2001

THE VISION
The time has come for the streets of Ebira Land to be filled with people singing the praises of Jesus Christ, and for this revival to spread throughout Nigeria and ultimately to the ends of the earth.
God called Christ Soul Winners International Outreach Ministry to raise and equip a great assembly of believers committed to winning souls for His Kingdom.
This divine mandate is anchored in Haggai 2:4–10, where God calls His people to be strong, work faithfully, and trust His promise of greater glory.

HOW IT STARTED
The vision was conceived in December 2001 through a divine revelation.
God revealed a large gathering of predominantly young people filling the streets of Ebira Landβ€”not for traditional masquerade festivals, but for Jesus Christ.
Following this revelation, the ministry embraced God's assignment and began taking practical steps toward fulfilling the vision.
The very first outreach programme was held on Christmas Day under the theme:

CHRISTMASS DINNER
Young people gathered to share a meal, enjoy fellowship, and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The programme took place at the residence of Brother Isaac in Ohueta–Ikuehi, Ihima, Kogi State.
From the very beginning, the ministry combined conventional and innovative evangelistic strategies. Although the Christmas Dinner evangelism concept was initially considered unconventional, it soon proved to be an effective means of reaching many people with the Gospel.

THE NAME
During the ministry's second year of operation, members prayerfully agreed to adopt the name:
Christ Soul Winners
The name reflects the ministry's divine mandateβ€”to win souls for Jesus Christ.

LEADERSHIP
Since its inception, dedicated servant leaders have faithfully advanced the ministry's vision.
National Presidents
β€’ Brother Peter Jimoh – First President
β€’ Brother John White (Late) – Second President
β€’ Pastor Peter Salihu – Third President
β€’ Brother Moses Ajanaku – Fifth President
β€’ Engr. Chogudo Nelson – Fourth/Current National President
Many faithful brethren have also served in various leadership positions, including Assistant President, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, and numerous other administrative offices that have contributed significantly to the ministry's growth.

MINISTRY GROWTH
Beginning with the inaugural Christmas Dinner outreach, the ministry has continued to expand through:
β€’ House-to-house evangelism
β€’ School outreaches
β€’ Village missions
β€’ Community evangelism
β€’ Youth evangelistic programmes
β€’ Revival meetings
β€’ Prayer conferences
β€’ Mission outreaches
Through these initiatives, countless lives have been transformed, families restored, and communities impacted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In 2016, the ministry was officially registered, strengthening its organizational structure and expanding opportunities for ministry and missions.
Today, the ministry operates through three mission zones, providing greater coordination for evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and humanitarian outreach.
Though birthed with a burden for Ebira Land, God has continually expanded the ministry's assignment to Nigeria and the nations of the world.
